The English Shotokan Karate Association better known as ESKA are a renowned Karate association with clubs in Herts, Beds, Cambs and Essex. ESKA was founded in 1979 by Eddie Witcher, Michael Randall, John Van Weenen, Michael Nursey, Roger Hall, Harry Jones and Greg Durant. Sensei Nursey (9th Dan) now chief instructor of ESKA runs the largest of the clubs in Stevenage, with ESKA’s other clubs run by Senior Dan Grades (up to 6th Dan). These senior instructors, in the most part, have trained all their Karate lives under Sensei Nursey.
Licences
You can use this website to apply for your ESKA licence. You will need your current grade and an account to get started.
